Amt of money $161.80 date June 19, 2003.I have no knowledge ever I did any buisness with this company.I paid the money because I had emergency leave the state for parent sickness.Ijust want to know the truth.

I just found out I have an “uncollected debt” from Bureau 21 inc after reworking a home equity loan and checking my credit report. Dated June 2003 and “sent for collection” April 2005″
Never heard of them, never used them, never received any bill.

Never heard of them, never used them, never received any bill. Exactly the same situation as Mrs. Mackin! Does anyone know how to get this matter taken care of!!

No knowledge of this company. This company has posted a debt on my credit report. Never have done any business with them and do not know why I would owe them any money. How can this be resolved? Is this a scam to get people to pay them money in an effort to clear up credit report.

I recently found a collection from Bureau 21, Inc. as well on my credit report and called the collection agency at 419.517.0077 – the employee who answered the phone (without stating a business name) was extremely defensive and said I needed to pay this debt either way. I have never requested any type of service from this company! This is a SCAM!!!

I recently got a copy of credit report since I am thinking about buying a house. I noticed I had a $68 uncollected debt through Collection Recovery Bureau with the phone number of 419-517-0077. I called the number and the lady answered without giving a company name. She also go defensive when I started questioning the bill. She then said I had two accounts with them, one for $67.40 and another one for $330.60, which blew me away since my credit report never even showed one for over 300 bucks!!! She also said that there was a lot of late fees attaced to the original bills. I asked for the phone numbers of the original debtors since she insisted they were only the collection agency and not the original debtors. She also said the origial bill came from some sex line or dating sevice (which I have never used). I called the two numbers she provided and both numbers were disconected. I have no idea who this CRB or the other numbers she provided are and am really concerned now so if anyone has any info about this collection agency I would appreciate it, because they do seem shady and I have a feeling they have something to do with the orginal depbtors.
