My partner & I purchased a dealership, ceiling pro provides good tech support and product application. Fee is rather high for what you get. Initial product/equipment package is about $3,500 out of $15,000. We did not not find a viable market in our area. When tried to exit and have CP assist, they treated us like lepers, avoiding us and never returning calls. In trying to search and contact other dealers, CP put the squeeze on them to buy from CP or be in violation of the “agreement”. Rather hard sell to get you on. In hindsight, check out other options. I later learned of company in FL that supplies product & equipment with much less initial investment. They also seem to have designed some better cleaning tools. If you ever want to discuss, call Dave at 413-442-8955.

They left a message for me to call, saying they really needed help. Before calling I search their info on the web and found comments like this. Thanks for letting us know, before we call and invest.

Looking at new business opportunities. Hello Randy and Dave. Please tell me more. Dave why no market in your area. I’m in Ct. Don’t want to waste money and time. They have given me other dealers to call. I’ll try your number. Thanks

I have been a Ceiling Pro dealer for over 6 years and love it. Like any business it takes a lot of work and persistence to get things rolling. Our experience with Ceiling Pro Corp office has been outstanding all along the way. We have built a tremendous business because we stuck to the plan and didn’t give up after the first couple of no’s…which later turned into yes! With any business if you begin with a no or even along the way .. you change your strategy and presentation so that you get a yes! When we do sales we get 9 out of 10 calls and the 1 we don’t get that day we get later. Yesterday we picked up a new client and they had a relative who worked with another chain and that person has 80 stores they are in charge of . There is money to be made in this business if you know how to do it. We checked out the ceiling business in Florida and I can tell you first hand that their products do not work like ours. The owner of that company was extremely rude to me when I questioned some of their practices. We have won hundreds of clients through the six years that tried that company and the results were so bad we got a new client due to their poor service and results. The price at that time was the same as Ceiling Pro. I’ve personally had Ceil Tech dealers call me and lie to me trying to get information on how Ceiling Pro works - I caught them at it. To me that’s not a company I would want to be associated with. I am sorry that you had a bad experience, but that is not the norm and I think that something could have been worked out. Just as you gave up too soon on doing the business and finding success I think you gave up on getting things resolved too soon as well. I’m sad that you gave up after only a few tries at going after work. It’s been our experience even in this economy that there is plenty of work out there. Good luck but don’t bad mouth a company that truly is a good company. The other guys in Florida are not, I experienced them first hand. For the price, you get a lot actually. We made back our initial investment within 6 weeks. Your comment about the other companies cleaning tools being better I’m afraid is not accurate. They may ‘look” better but, the results do not even begin to compare and the results are what keeps your clients happy. They take short cuts to get the job done – I personally don’t operate that way and neither do any good ceiling companies. If we can build a tremendous business so can anyone else. It takes work – yes, but any good business does. Good luck. Diane
