Paint Bull should be Pit Bull - the way they take a bite out of your wallet and hold on to take everything they can. If you are looking to buy…ask them where you are going to get their clients? Listen carefully to their answers and then to the answers of the ‘actual franchisees’ (if you believe they are not paid…you’ll end up like me…out of money). You should also ask when they made their investment back and how much money they are bringing in - see how their answers are just different enough - but basically the same…I have started researching and finding some franchisees on my own to see the real deal (see if I m truly the only unsuccessful franchisee they have, as they would like me to believe) - and so far what I am finding is giving me confidence and telling me that Paint Bull is full of bull. Please post your experiences here so we can get the truth out (while their teeth are locked on my wallet, I am going to go just as hard after the truth. And will pass it along to all who want to hear.)

They’re great at their SCAM. First you get a very welcoming email from their president Greg Laube. THEN it gets even BETTER, you get their financials, disclosure and a contract - the email’s signed by Greg Laube but sent from Kim Boelter! I should have been suspicious then but it looks completely professional.

Next you get the pitch from their ’sales director’, Tim Allery whose VERY convincing about how great the market is and how small the initial investment is. He convinced me the support was excellent, of course, and that I would have everything I needed to profit. He even offered to let me speak with current franchisees! I didn’t think it was necessary.

15K + later, I found out that there is NO market and that training and support, if you want to call it that, is minimal at best! I’m not new to sales or even the automotive industry so it didn’t take me long to figure out that THERE IS NO WAY TO PROFIT FROM PAINT BULL’S FRANCHISE! All the dealerships I tried use shops who have connections to the owner. The local auto body shops ALL HAVE MOBILE SYSTEM IN PLACE! They give you BAD LEADS and NO SUPPORT.

It’s in the hands of my attorney now. I’d be happy to discuss details to anyone who’s interested. Contact me through this site.

Joseph, I’ve been looking at Paint Bull myself. It’s not set up as a franchise as Mr. Dailey explains, at least not now. Once you get your training, you are off to start and run your own business, under your own name. Paint Bull makes their money from their training and supplies, which you don’t have to buy from them. I suggest you do your own homework and visit some of the car dealers in your area and talk to the used car manager and lease manager, find out who they are using to make small repairs on the returned lease vehicles, prior to them putting them on their lot to sell.

    Good luck,
    Carl
