I did some searching and found out that the holder of the patent did not pay the manufacturer money owed, so the manufacturer stopped making the ramp. the patent owner also will not release the patent so for now I guess the gator ramp is on hold.
Gator Ramp Systems is the perfect pickup truck loading solution. This unique ramp finally makes safe loading a breeze. Now one can easily load heavy equipment like golf carts, tractors, motorcycles, snow mobiles or ATV’s onto your truck. In fact, the ramp’s 1,000 lb. (Sm.or Mid. size truck) and 1,500 lb. (Lg. truck) distributed weight capacities allow for the simple loading of nearly anything one can put in a truck. Gator Ramp Systems will set you up as a “Distributor” with a “Territory” and send you a kit to help you start selling ramps as soon as possible. I was a distributor with them and found the ramps to be overpriced and most of the supports for the ramp connecting the tailgate to the ramp all break after about 6 months. Great idea needs some improvement.

I was promised a territory, sent in my paper work(cash) and was told that I was too late after talking with the sales manager; I would like to meet him in a dark alley!
I still think there is potential for this product.
Anyone with good info.please et me know .

I also was a distributor and found the unit to be overpriced as well. In addition, the weith of the ramp on the tail gate required a significant amount of force to close it with the 90 pound ramp on the tailgate.
