Sony Ericsson unleashed paid actors & actresses to key attractions such as the Empire State Building in New York and the Space Needle in Seattle to ask unsuspecting tourist to take their pictures using Sony’s new T68i, a mobile phone/digital camera. This concept is called stealth marketing and it’s meant to generate “buzz” and sales by providing instant product demonstrations that grab attention.
