Home Based Business Opportunities:

With a small printing press in your garage, basement or shop - accept and contract (at first) for printing jobs that are too small for your competition. The possibilities include doing jobs for stationery stores, advertisers, sub-contract work for larger printers and the local newspaper, as well as custom retail orders such as wedding announcements, personalized greeting cards, advertising flyers and the like.

I am a graphic production and printing student at the College of the North Atlantic in St.John’s NL. I have to prepare a feasibility report, taking into consideration equiptment, materials, supplies, manpower and a location with approximately 750 square feet. My market niche is a small local business that can provide school yearbooks to the local area schools. At preasent, many of the schools have their yearbooks printed outside of the province. Funding for this business will be provided by a small business grant that will fund 60% up to a max. of $60,000.00. I will have to provide the remaining 40%. I was wondering if you could help provide me with some information to get started on this assignment.
Thank you for your time and consideration
