While it is true that recip linking can and does give you traffic, I have found it of less value than a one way, high ranked non reciprical link to my Site!

I generally get my links by writing articles. Then I can get links back to my website from PR0-PR6 article directories and people take my articles from those sites and put them on their websites and then I get a bunch of free links without having to do a bunch of work. I also get traffic from people who liked the articles.
