You want to be home with your children, yet you still want (and need) to work and make money. Perhaps it is possible to transfer your current skills to a home business.

For some careers, writing for example, it’s easy to see how you can do your work from home. For others, however, you may have to be a little more creative. Here are some home-based ideas for careers whose home business applications may not be as obvious:

Administrative Assistant - Secretarial support for small businesses, Desktop publishing services, Typing/word processing services, Prepare resumes for college students.

Attorney - Business consulting and incorporation, Freelance writing on legal issues, Trademarks, Wills and trusts.

Engineer - Contract engineering work, Software support for small businesses, Freelance programming, Computer training, Website design.
