Woot!
Woot! is a different sort of online store:
- They only sell one item per day, Monday through Friday. The product is available only until 11:59 PM Central Time or when their stock runs out. If you miss it, too bad.
- They offer no support and will not accept returns. If you have buyers remorse, they say, sell it on Ebay. If the product is defective you’ll have to contact the manufacturer.
- You can only purchase a maximum of 3 units per order once per day.
And yet, the deals are so good that people are staying up late just to see the new products.
Today’s deal is a IBM WorkPad C500 PDA (like a Palm m500, but black) for $49.99 + $5 shipping. Of course, if you’re reading this after 8/12/04 11:59 PM Central Time, sorry you’re out of luck.
