Startup Journal: “I’ve always thought there is something all-American about entrepreneurs who start from scratch. Cleaning — a person and some rags and soap — is the quintessential start-up business that doesn’t require much capital. That’s not to say it’s a cinch. You must deal with a range of clients and their particular quirks. You have to pay attention to more-efficient cleaning techniques, or your profits will go down the drain with the shower cleaner. Once you hire employees, you must have the fortitude to deal with ceaseless turnover.”
