Your Own Ink
Sergio Samoilovich, Ph.D. has developed a system to create unique inks, so that the ink in a signature would be as unique as the signature itself:
We want to develop a complete system for producing, delivering and supporting one custom ink per customer, that will add safety to signatures and rubberstamps.
This ink is obtained by mixing standard colors in different proportions. Those colors will be shown in a website, under each customer’s name, for validation purposes. Additional components will add safety to the OwnInk system: magnetic salts, fluorescent pigments, chemical or biochemical substances.
Each safety component can be either public or private, as decided by the owner. Biochemical components are easy to detect, if you know what are you looking for. If you don’t, you need a multimillion dollar lab and many hours of expert chemists or biochemists. Thus, documents written with OwnInk will be virtually impossible to counterfeit.
Some components can be detected by simple means, like black light for fluorescent dyes or dollar bill authenticity detectors that react to the magnetic ink. Particulate components in the ink can be seen under the microscope.
The more components are added to the formula, the higher the difficulty to reverse engineer the ink. Components like DNA are 99,9% safe. The user’s name and a scanned image of its OwnInk trace is kept online for years, for easy identification of your unique color. Other components detectable by subtle methods like chromatography and immunochemistry will be kept secret to any other than the owner or a Court official with a proper information release order.
He’s looking for investors, if you’re interested.
