High Speed Service is a dental handpiece repair business involved in rebuilding and repairing high-speed drills that are used by dentists.
The owner, Vern Tunnell started this repair business more than 10 years ago and still practices today. Originally a machine shop owner who was tired of working 10-to 12 hour days seven days a week, Vern Tunnell invested in an opportunity with dental handpiece repair. After working for one of the largest handpiece repair mail-order specialists in the world, Vern noted several flaws in the mail order business and grew dissatisfied with working for someone else so he started his own company. Since then, Vern has trained dozens of people—printers, police officers, truck drivers, restaurant owners, and a television producer—how to own and operate their own company with the reputable High Speed Service name.
