Working From Home Losing Its Stigma
Startup Journal: “25 million people in the U.S., or 19% of those in nonagricultural jobs, work from home at least occasionally, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The practice has become socially acceptable and even desirable. ‘Nowadays people don’t miss a beat when I say I work from home,’ says Ms. Hamond. ‘When I have to OK proofs for my catalog, the printer knows to ask whether he’s sending them to my house or my office.’”
