Women Owned Startups Outnumber Men Owned Businesses
San Diego Source: “The face of the American small business community is changing. A recent study by the National Association for the Self-Employed shows that startups of women-owned businesses outnumbered new men-owned businesses by nearly a 2-1 ratio in 2003.”

The real quetion is, how many of those woman-owned businesses are using a figurehead woman to get the minority tax breaks, etc, and how many are actually run by those women?

Interesting point, Greg. I always joke about that, but I wonder if there are actual statistics anywhere that would indicate at what rate it really happens?
