Mr. Handyman To Give Away A Franchise

Mr. Handyman
PR Newswire:

Do you think you’ve got what it takes to own and operate one of America’s premier franchises? If so, Mr. Handyman and FranNet (”The Franchise Connection”) are offering a unique opportunity to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Mr. Handyman and parent company Ann Arbor MI-based Service Brands International, along with FranNet, the world’s largest network of franchise consultants, are embarking on a nationwide search. They’re looking to find the person who best fits the criteria for owning and operating a Mr. Handyman franchise.

The winner will join more than 135 existing franchisees across the country and will be chosen by an evaluation of responses to FranNet’s industry-leading confidential questionnaire that it uses to help match prospective franchisees to the business that best suits them – will be awarded a Mr. Handyman franchise.

“The territory fee of $30,000 will be waived for this candidate,” said Todd Recknagel, president of Mr. Handyman. “However”, continues Recknagel, “the candidate still must meet the minimum financial requirements and pay the $9,900 franchise fee for training, documentation and the grand opening kit and $9,500 for the Dell Computer software package. They also must possess sufficient working capital to own and operate the awarded franchise.”

Although FranNet does not charge prospective franchisees for its services, it is waiving the finder’s fee it normally charges the franchisor for placing a candidate.

Contestants will be able to submit their confidential questionnaires through a special web site – www.givemeafranchise.com – designated specifically for the giveaway. The site will also explain the specifics of the contest in much greater detail. “We are known in the franchise industry as the company that provides absolutely the best-quality candidates for franchise systems,” said Howard Bassuk, founder of FranNet.
