There are dozens of organizations and professional groups that would enjoy an enlightening two- to three-hour workshop on the subject and even more who could benefit from a 30-minute talk on the dos and don’ts of an effective web site.

Public speaking will help to establish you as an expert and broaden your exposure.

There are several ways to approach it. Make a list of the service organizations, professional organizations and non-profit associations in your area. Let them know that you are available to come in (at no charge) and give a training workshop/seminar on what web sites can do for them; why it’s important to have a web site; and how important it is to keep it updated.

Create both a 30 minute talk and a two- or three-hour workshop. Next, offer a teleconference for the entrepreneurs or business managers who can’t afford to leave their businesses for two or three hours.
