In 1988, Glamour Shots was introduced. Throughout recent modern history, women have been “made over,” wardrobed, accessorized and photographed, though only available to the elite. Now, combined with the opportunity to allow the customer the ability to see the product immediately, Glamour Shots has become the leader in portrait photography. As a result, more than one million women each year walk out of the doors of Glamour Shots looking and feeling better than they possibly ever have.
Glamour Shots delivers more than just traditional portraits, as clients experience the fantasy of being made to look their very best, then have their portraits taken by a competent, professionally trained staff.
Recognized as one of the fastest growing retail franchises in the country, Glamour Shots is a unique concept targeted to women ages 18-49, their families and children.
Glamour Shots has expanded to hundreds of shopping malls and strip centers across the United States, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Venzuela and the United Arab Emirates. New stores open each year and both national and international expansion is ongoing.
Exceptional growth and strong franchisee satisfaction have earned Glamour Shots numerous awards and recognition in the business and franchising worlds.

Hello,
I would like some information about getting started as a photographer for Glamour Shots. I have been working in the industry for 18 years, first on the printing side for Portrait World in California, then School Portraits by Krantz, then for Kodak processing labs in Fountain Valley California. I have made3 the transition to digital photography and own a Sony Mavica digital camera as well as a Canon EOS Elan ll. So how does one break into the business for Glamour Shots as a photographer. Thank you for any information and help you could send my way…Thank you Steve.
