Dave writing in the Friends in Business forum: “A buddy of mine makes almost $10K per month selling DeWalt tools on eBay, and eBay didn’t charge him a dime for the ‘business’. In fact, the business didn’t cost him anything. He started small, reinvested profits until it grew to what it is today. Now, he is planning to leave his full-time job as of Feb. 1 — Yes, he currently runs a $10K per month biz on his own while working a full time job.”

It is possible to make it big on eBay. My friends grandmother, yes grandmother, makes about $5k per month on ebay by going to yard sells and placing the items on ebay. She says that at first she was doing it just for fun and then she relized what she had come across. The downside is that she uses almost half of her house now for storage of her massive inventory and it is also tricky shipping everything out on time and keeping up with auctions that end on a daily and even hourly basis. Personally I just buy alot of stuff from there.
