I like to see biz opptys that are different in their approach to other more, ‘classic’ solutions. Two I like right now are numarkets.com, a unique service that sells your stuff on e-bay & its emerging competitors, and ZipRealty. Zip, which just did a $60M IPO, specializes in putting out of business the biggest consumer rip-off in America today: the ‘classic’ real estate agent charging 6-7% of your gross price, without any equity risk. Zip’s business model is paperless to the extreme, mobile to the extreme, and they won’t open an office unless their RE service providers, i.e. title companies, inspection services, mortgage providers, etc are there as well & just as paperless. Awesome evolving force to cut real estate comissions to 1-2% where they belong!
