The new higher listing prices at eBay will make it a harder decision on what to list there. A lot of listing experimentation just can’t happen anymore…
To be honest that is the price you pay for the eBay service. eBay basically provides a marketing service for your ecommerce efforts… I have found that service to be relatively low cost in relation to doing my own marketing.
For my store at http://www.SaleCity.com the costs of attracting customers far out way the cost of selling over eBay.com.
We see Goggle ad prices going up every day – there is no reason eBay shouldn’t follow suite. that said I would heartily welcome some Auction competition!
