Charles Hagood of The Access Group (TAG) spoke today in our Financial Management class about boostrapping. He offered these princples to keep in mind during start-up:
  • Cash is king!
  • Somtimes less is more and that sometimes more can be an enemy
  • Keep priorites in order
  • Enjoy the ride!
  • Cut costs not quality
  • Impress your customers not yourself
  • If you have $1 left to spend, spend it on marketing
  • Always look bigger and bader than you really are
  • Continually assess your organization for waste
