Risky Business

Andrew Spires:

I am a casting producer with RDF Media. We are currently casting a new business based show. Briefly, the show is a business competition where three teams — composed of two entrepreneurs and one self-made, established millionaire — will start a company and compete to see who can make the most money in 6 months. We are currently accepting applications and would like submissions by March 31st.

The press release follows:

Three multi-millionaires; three pairs of dreamers; three teams competing to make big money. But who will come out on top after six months?

Have you ever had an amazing idea for a business and wished you could get a very successful entrepreneur to partner with you in creating the business? Well, this could be your chance.

From the creators of Wife Swap, “Risky Business” (working title) follows three teams as they attempt to turn a business idea into a million dollar company within six months. Each team is two real people, who are wildly ambitious and risk takers, paired up with a multi-millionaire who will mentor them as they experience first hand the trials and tribulations of getting a business off the ground.

The real people can be any pair who know each other: a couple (married or dating), two friends, two relatives, or two business partners. But as you know, being an entrepreneur is a risky business and the stakes are high so each pair of real people must come up with half the money for start-up of the new company, that’s $50,000, and the multi-millionaire mentor will put up the other half. This makes for a true partnership where the three of you own the new company together.

So, how much of an entrepreneur are you? How much are your willing to risk for potentially huge gains?

If you’re interested, please read the video instructions and complete and return the application.
