I remember many times when I spent all day setting up an elaborate set of toys and then having to put them all away for bed without having “played” at all. Of course, I realize now that I enjoyed the planning, construction and layout far more than I realized then.

I was doing exactly this when starting up my business. Actually, I was doing something worse. I would spend time preparing for something and then in the middle change direction and start on something new. My wife finally kicked me out the door to start shaking hands at the local businesses and getting a good b2b network going.
I’m trying to chronicle the rest of my my successes and failures at http://www.thebluewire.com

Thank you! So refreshing to read what you have shared. Making mistakes is key to understanding and learning more about who you are. It becomes a tool, and something you can use to further your business.
Play is a great way to know more about yourself, without judgment.
I appreciate you reminding others of that VERY important aspect in LIFE.
