No offense, but this book is from 1999. Even though it’s in it’s third edition. In the last 6 years I assume you would agree that so much has changed in way of business opportunities. If this book was printed in 2004-2005 I would have purchased it as I love to see what people feel are great and exciting business ideas.

Good point Richard — this book is a bit dated. But good ideas can sometimes be timeless. My favorite business book is Richard White’s “The Entrepreneur’s Manual” last published in 1977.

I have looked at this book and although books containing practical advice can be very useful, this book’s information is not so timeless. This book was written before the dot com bust and it was written before 9/11/2001 and the advice may have seemed good at the time, but as Kligman said in his post a lot has changed in the last six years.
Dane, have you read this book?

I am afraid that I have to retract my previous posting, this may not be the same book as the one that I thought it was. Please disregard my previous comments.
