    Dane,

    Neville Here (NevBlog.com)

I am doing a post about ideas and entrepreneurship, and I would like a really short and sweet quote to sum it up.

So far my favorite is “It’s not the idea, it’s the jockey”

I want to effectively communicate in as few words possible the emphasis that ideas are all around, but success lays in the person that can actually carry out those ideas.

I also want to communicate that you don’t NEED an original idea for success, just start a franchise.

    Let me know.
You can either reply in the comment area or shoot me at email: nev @ mail.utexas.edu

    THANKS!

    Good morning Nev,

Honestly, I think you said it excellently yourself –

“Ideas are all around, but success lays in the person that can actually carry out those ideas.”

    But, how about:

“Ideas are cheap — it’s the execution that matters.”
