Need an idea for an online business? A list of services that should be available online, but aren’t, is growing on 37signals. For instance:
- A good plumber or electrician
- Which stores in my area have a specific product in stock
- Laws (how do I find out if something is legal or not?)
- Are there bike racks near this address?
- What a product *sounds* like when you use it
- The best way to get from Point A to Point B using public transportation in the top 10 major cities in the country (and the average travel time for the route)
- How long it takes to walk somewhere (if we’re driving it’s easy to find out, but what if we want to walk?)
- How much an average cab ride will cost between Point A and Point B
Figuring out how make a profit providing them is your problem. Remember, ideas are cheap — it’s the execution that counts. Good luck!
