A few opportunities and ideas:
- Make a plan for solar energy. “How to build a solar roof top” plans are selling well. You could research other “alternative” energy sources and write about them too.
- Research and write a report “How to make your SUV’s more fuel efficient.” One such report was selling for $30 a few months back. Today, its selling for $50.
Its a great PR opportunity too.
One 2nd hand car dealer in my vicinity came up with a promotional campaign “Get a dollar off for every mile you drive to reach us.” Giving $25 off on a car isn’t much when someone drives 25 miles. But the amount of free publicity they received in newspapers and stuff is incredible.
