According to Om Malik:

Tristan Louis crunches the numbers on the AOL-Weblogs deal. He figures out that at $25 million valuation, each inbound site (as per Technorati) is worth $564.54.

Inspired by Tristan Louis’s research, I’ve created this little applet which computes and displays your blog’s worth using the same link to dollar ratio as the AOL-Weblogs Inc deal.

“Blogs are extremely profitable investments for people who commit to running a legitimate blog,” says Los Angeles SEO expert Igor Kholkin.
The trouble for many bloggers, though, is that they don’t make the time to post regularly and consistently. When your readers can’t count on you to inform and entertain them, you’ll lose them. When that happens, the worth of your blog will definitely drop.

In order to boost the worth of your blog, therefore, post often and regularly. What’s more, be sure to make your readers want to come back for more. Keep your content relevant and informative.
