Don’t Let The Paycheck Stop You!

The guarantee of a weekly paycheck is no longer a enough of a reason to not startup a business yourself, as Frank Ross explains in this post, Why People Avoid Starting a Business:

While it’s true that a ‘regular job’ can offer a steady paycheck, this argument really has diminishing merit in today’s corporate world. “What if I give up my ’steady income’ and the business I start fails to make money? What would I do??”

Oh, man. The lists of excuses go on and on. I know because I had them myself for the longest time.

My solution was simple. When I finally found the one business that clicked with me I didn’t have to think on it for very long. I just knew there was no way I could let it fail if I did some basic work on my own.

You will know when the time and business is right for you. When that happens, it will be pretty much a ‘no-brainer’ and you will feel more stupid to pass it up than to go with it.

Here is hoping you all find yours as I found mine!
