Writing a Book is Just One Step

Gladys Edmunds:

Readers often write to me about publishing a book, as if the idea of publishing a book is the ultimate goal. Actually, it is not nor should it be the end goal of an expert.

Perhaps you are not ready to hear this, but a published book in today’s world is like having a bigger and bolder business card. It is just one thing in your lineup of things that suggest you are an expert in your field. Your book is the thing that you sign and leave behind after you have completed the keynote, the workshop, the bookstore presentation, or the seminar.
