Want to get mentored by a world-famous business leader? The “Get in Their Shoes” campaign by the International Mentoring Network Organization (IMNO) is offering auctions for a 30-minute phone mentoring session from a slew of leaders from all sectors: Business, politics, entertainment and more. You also get a pair of their shoes, so you can “get in their shoes” (it’ll be an interesting conversation piece at least).As the site explains, the campaign is need to inspire young people around the world through mentorship. It’s a “call to action by successful business leaders, athletes, entertainers, and politicians to rally youth and aspiring leaders to lift themselves out of their limiting circumstances by proactively interviewing successful professionals within their own communities.”
You can bid for mentoring sessions with Spider-Man creator Stan Lee, Stephen Covey, E-Myth guru Michael Gerber, author Gregory Maguire, architect Daniel Libeskind, David Copperfield, Orson Scott Card, Guy Kawasaki, former Secretary of State James Baker, and several other inspiring people.
