eBay Slide Player Technology
Slide, Inc. announced today the launch of their Slide Player for eBay. Slide Player, which works with Windows and Macintosh computers, is a free application that turns the latest content from thousands of websites, including eBay, into moving Slide Shows that are constantly updated and can be watched on any website or computer desktop.
“eBay has become a source of both fun and income for many people around the world,” said Max Levchin, CEO of Slide. “By enabling people to watch and track multiple auction items in a quick, easy manner, Slide has created a great enhancement to the eBay experience for both buyers and sellers alike.”
Utilizing streaming technology, the Slide Player for eBay brings content from auction listings directly to users’ desktops. Slide automatically retrieves updates on eBay auction items so current information, including product descriptions, current bid price, number of bids, closing time of the bid, and Power Seller information, is displayed with item photos in every eBay Slide Show.
