I’m a member of a number of small business and entrepreneurial organizations. I always find the gatherings really interesting because of the different views people have about how they should run a business. I have no idea what qualifications most of the people there have. They might all be MBAs; then again, they could be recent deliveries from the local turnip farmer.

One thing I hear often is that the entrepreneurs can’t say what their business does. At a recent meeting, one man said, simply; “I can’t tell you now, but it will be in the news next Tuesday - and it will revolutionize how people will do business”.

I just don’t see the benefit of keeping things a secret and then having to spend lots of money to get the word out.
