Using eBay Auctions to Help Challenged Kids
Personal Ponies Ltd., an International non-Profit organization, dedicated to raising and providing UK Shetland Ponies to children with disabilities, is using a new twist on eBay Auctions to generate funding. What does this organization have to auction? The right to name a new baby pony, of course!
“The high-bidder will have the right to choose the name of a newborn foal.”, stated Annie Norvelle, California State Director and National Media Director for Personal Ponies, Ltd. She added, “What people need to understand is that our ponies live up to thirty years, and during that time they spend a great deal of time with the public. This is a great way for someone to give a lasting remembrance to a name they cherish.”
