Big Stores Take On Small Ink Refillers

As anyone with an ink printer knows, new cartridges cost an arm and a leg. So what many people do is visit their friendly ink cartridge shop for a recycled and refilled cartridge, or they buy kits to DIY it at home. According to this USA Today article, bigger stores are looking for a piece of the inky action. Walgreens plans to launch a new refill service at 1,500 stores, and OfficeMax and Office Depot are also testing the concept. For small-time cartridge businesses, this could spell bad news.
