Paul Graham:

Are you a hacker who has thought about one day starting a startup? Then you’re invited to a free, one-day startup school this April 29 at Stanford.

Where: Kresge Auditorium, Stanford University.
When: 29 April 2006, 9:00 am.
Application Deadline: 7 April 2006.

The school is free, but because more people may want to come than we have room for, we ask you to fill out a brief application form if you want to attend. The application deadline is noon on April 7, and we’ll issue acceptances by April 11.

That’s a great idea. They should do an online version or webcast it for those that can’t make it to California.
[ps: funny thing about the word hacker...I used to have it in my email address until a hosting company refuse to sell me hosting because of it...I told them I was a 'good' hacker, but they were too uptight!]
