Gladys Edmunds in USA Today:

There’s nothing wrong with doing tasks that don’t require much thinking if you can recognize them and understand why you are doing them. I have gotten some of my best ideas while doing nothing much. I have also caught myself avoiding a project because it was new to me and I wasn’t sure how to get it started. And I have learned to quickly snap out of procrastination when I catch myself dusting books on a shelf while important work is calling my name.
