    Their entire business model is based on building customer allegiance and loyalty through exemplary service and respect for the individual customer’s time and home.

    Exemplary commercial services comes from exemplary company workers. I have noticed some companies try to improve staff performance by plugging mediocre people into good corporate teambuilding programs. Even the best of these team building programs can not develop people beyond their natural ability and skills.

    I have come to the conclusion that the way (the only way?) to get exemplary service, is, as you so rightly say is to hire examplary people!

    I have noticed that some businesses attempt to turn their mediocre employees into a dream team with outside consultants and team building weekends. Wrong! Even the best corporate teambuilding programs cannot take a person’s low abilities or unwilling attitudes and turn them into exemplary workers. Not in a weekend of team building. Not in a year of on-going training.

    The best way to get exemplary employees is to hire them!
