Jill Jenkins started her first cleaning company in Billings, Montana in 1971. Since then, she has built her business by providing high quality cleaning services through honesty, integrity, ingenuity, hard working people, and sound business practices.
Since 1971, Jill, along with her son Joseph, has established successful commercial cleaning businesses in Billings Montana, Kansas City Missouri, and Salt Lake City Utah.
In 1994 they began cleaning buildings in Salt Lake City. BearCom currently has over 200 clients along the Wasatch front. All BearCom managers have attended ManageMen’s Janitors University. This week long program educates in training janitors, chemical usage, the (OS1) operating system, and ManageMen’s “Beyond Compliance” Hazardous Communications program.

Interesting story. Reading between the lines, it seems to me the reason they’ve done so well is that they DO give good service and DO clean their clients’ buildings! I guess another reason is that they have franchised their concept, and the cleaners are individual operators. Imagine running teams of cleaners from one central office, and being the “biggest in Utah”. That would take some inspired management and training by head office, I would think. Call in the corporate team building programms!

I’ve heard that Vanguard Cleaning Systems is a better company. I’m sure bearcom is great and what not - but you can get highly skilled cleaners through Vanguard Cleaning. Some of their best crews can be found down in Utah County, but they are really all over the place.

Well I’ve tried some of the local franchise companies like Jan Pro, Jani King, Service Master, and Vanguard. None of them did well. After 3 years of trying all of those, I finally came across one I like. It’s new to Utah as far as I know, but they have provided my attorney’s office in Lindon with the best cleaning I’ve ever seen. They are Healthy Green Cleaning Systems. I believe this is their website - utahgreenclean.com
