eBay Drop Off Stores a Popular Convience

 Miami Herald

When the company where Mike Jalali worked went bankrupt in 2004, he was left with two trailers full of audiovisual and electronic equipment.

He didn’t have enough storage space in his Weston home, and desperately needed to get rid of the stuff. He turned to eBay, the online auction site, for help.

But photographing each item, writing a description, researching price comparisons, posting it on a website, tracking it and shipping it to the buyer took up too much time for the husband and father of three.

Jalali searched for someone who could sell the equipment on the website for a fee. He lucked out, he says, when he met Debbie and Jessica Quintana, owners of We Sold It!, an eBay drop-off store in Davie.

”There are no words to say how much they’ve simplified my life,” he said. “They have given back to me probably three to four hours a day. That’s priceless.”

eBay drop-off stores are gaining popularity, popping up across the country.
