Stealing a great idea from Darren, I’ve started a 30 Second/One Question Interview. My first participant is David Tufte, a professor at Southern Utah University.

I asked:

One man’s trash, is another man’s treasure. What product or service have you imagined would be a good business opportunity, but you’ve rejected because it’s too off the wall?

He responded on his blog:

Answer: How about a fast food place that serves international pasta dishes in wraps so that they can be eaten without muss or fuss: pad thai as a burrito, bolognese as a soft taco, chow mein in a pita. Get the picture?

Thanks David! If you’d like to participate, answer the question on your blog and ping this post, or spell it out in the comments.

Love the food in a wrap concept. I’m new to the Seattle area, and I tried a “fish taco,” which is basically just that - take deep-fried fish and throw it in a taco shell to keep it messy. Sounds gross, tastes great!
