Technology has certainly changed the world we live in - at work, at home, and at school. In fact, some students here in the valley can now attend high school without ever leaving home.
It’s called Virtual High School and offers 115 courses, including Chinese. Students do all of their work online, but take final exams in person. There, they must score 60% or better to receive credit for the class.
Virtual High School Assistant Principal Jami Miller says the program has made amazing strides in recent years. “Within the last three years we’ve become a full-time school, we had a graduation ceremony last year, had virtual proms.”
