Barbados largest vehicle care retail company, Automotive Art, is actively pursuing expansion into the Central and South American markets.
Chief executive officer, Derek Foster, disclosed that the company is in negotiations with potential partners in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Panama.
He tells the business report that Automotive Art hopes to be in some key markets by early next year.
Automotive Art operates a franchise and distributive operation in 22 countries in the English Caribbean and negotiations are ongoing with investors in Guadeloupe.
Foster says since the franchising, the company has seen growth in all the markets, particularly Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.
