Cafe Coffee Day, the first Indian coffee chain to open a branch in Pakistan, is set to come up with two more outlets in the next few months and 30-50 more in the next three to five years.

Amin Hashwani of the Hashwani Group, the franchise partner, has said he plans to open 30-50 outlets in the next three to five years.

Two more outlets will be opened in Pakistan in the next three-four months, Hashwani told Dawn newspaper. The first Cafe Coffee Day outlet was opened in Karachi’s posh Defence Housing Authority area.

Hashwani did not disclose how much investment was involved.

He said the staff, recruited locally, were trained in Dubai. In-house training is also being provided, he said.
