Wachovia Introduces Mobile Banking In The USA

US banking giant Wachovia announced the first phase of its mobile banking system for its customers. Wachovia Mobile, the company’s first step with mobile banking, is available now on handheld devices running Windows Mobile 5 with Pocket Internet Explorer.

The new service lets Wachovia customers view account balances, check account activity, and transfer funds using their mobile phones. Wachovia has indicated that they will soon make Wachovia Mobile available on other handheld devices running other operating systems.
