Move Inventory with Markdown Manager on eBay

eBay introduces Markdown Manager to put specific items in your eBay store on sale.

This week eBay has introduced a new (free) service for eBay Store sellers. Now you can put an item in your eBay Store on sale. It will continue to show the original price with a slash through it and then the sale price. This allows you to show buyers that the item is marked down.

I like the concept of this new feature and I think it may help increase cross-sales because it reminds buyers that sales don’t last forever and makes them more likely to buy now rather than wait (and often forget about it).

One thing I really like is that you don’t have to put the entire store on sale. You can pick and choose products to markdown while leaving your best sellers at full price.
