Do you have an original idea that you want the world to know about?

On Friday’s show, Oprah Winfrey invited hopeful entrepreneurs to pitch their creative and unique products during one of the three national trade shows that TV shopping channel QVC is sponsoring in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles during the month of March.

Up to 10 finalists from these events will get the opportunity to present their invention on The Oprah Winfrey Show and the studio audience will vote for their favorite.

The winning invention will be featured on QVC. For more information and a copy of the official rules, go here.

I think it is safe to say, since I read this morning that Oprah has generated about 1.5 billion in revenue, that whatever she believes is the next big thing, is going to be the next big thing. I just wish it was my home based business. I need all the help I can get.

I like the redesign, Dane. Haven’t been here in a while - how long’s it been up for?
Anyways, concerning Oprah’s business opportunity, I appreciate her using her show to help out. Something that’s really worth applauding, IMHO.

Interesting move. Let’s hope Oprah ropes in a few angel investors or VC guys to get things moving as well. Innovation in a pressure cooker, anyone?

I have tried to reach Opra to submit my new design many times and am very disappointed because I have not heard from oprah. My last attempt was entering her next big idea search contest on line. I’m very sad because I have a new design that is very unique an should be looked at. It is a complete body towel, it’s beautiful and cuddly, just right to pack in your luggage. This whole body towel dries your entire body quickly from head to toe, you just step in it. thank you Martha Sanders, please reply.

I love Oprah and with her being focused through the years on health, effective workouts, propert diet/nutrition, etc. I feel she would benefit (if she doesn’t know already) about Isagenix. This is a product that creates AMAZING results regarding weight loss. I should know…I’ve personally used it and am addicted to its protein shake.:) If anyone is interested, feel free to visit my website link at http://www.LoriMeadows.Isagenix.com for more info. The most popular product is the 9 Day Cleanse. Feel free to contact me at (904) 307-9989 with any questions.

I entered Oprah’s Search for the Next Big idea and attended the product tradeshow at QVC Studios in West Chester, PA. It’s an experience everyone who has an invention should attend. It was overwhelming.

I also entered the contest in Philly. We had a very interested judge. I have created a healing scrapbook kit for those grieving early prenancy and infant loss. Just a Cloud Away, Inc is also a heaven-based support website for families wanting to memorialize their angels

Never thought a lasagna pan would be the winner. Just a Cloud Away, Inc was in the wrong arena.

I am looking for the next big idea show, either for Oprah or QVC. I have been looking for applications on the internet and information. I have a fabulous idea that every woman would love to own. Please steer me in the right direction.
