Hi! I'm Dane Carlson, and welcome to the Business Opportunities Weblog. I've been publishing this website, by myself, and sometimes with the help of others for over twelve years now. You'll notice two things about this site right away:

  • We have tons of content. In fact, since November 2011, I've published more than 26,000 posts on thousands of different business ideas and opportunities.
  • We don't sell much advertising. In late 2013, I realized that by selling advertising, what I was really selling was my readers. In 2014, I've already radically cut down on the number of ads and will hopefully keep cutting.

Pretty much everyone has been on Ebay, right? I’m sure you’ve found some good deals and won some auctions. Ebay is one of the biggest and most popular websites on the Internet. But many people are only buyers. And few people know how easy it is to get started selling on Ebay.

The easiest thing to sell on Ebay is things that are already in your house. You probably have stuff (maybe a lot of it) that you don’t use anymore. It’s worth nothing to you. You may even be thinking of throwing it away.

But if you stop to think about it, most of that stuff is worth something to someone. And that’s how you’re going to get started selling on Ebay.

Believe it or not, the average house has $1,000 worth of unused stuff in it.
