Number Of Items Listed On eBay Increasing
The number of items for sale on eBay has increased from a year ago, but more listings don’t necessarily guarantee a big quarter for the online auctioneer.
eBay Goldman Sachs said Tuesday that eBay (nasdaq: EBAY – news – people ) listings from Jan. 1 through March 4 were up 5.8% from the corresponding period last year. The company’s shares rose 98 cents, or 3.2%, to close at $31.34 Tuesday.
