Not All Sell Well On eBay
STELLA McCartney’s clothing line may have been a hit for Target, but potential profiteers have had a reality check on internet auction site eBay.
While more than 4000 items from the collection have been listed for sale online since it was launched on March 12, only about half have sold.
Only a few have made big profits. Most have sold for near the original retail price, or below.
While one cashmere coat sold last week for $465, more than double its original $199, many items have not attracted any bids.
